INBRE Programs

INBRE stands for IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence. It is an NIH-funded program within the Institutional Development Award (IDeA) initiative, administered by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS). INBRE builds statewide research networks; emphasizes student and faculty development across multiple institutions; connects colleges, universities and medical schools; and has a broad workforce development mission.
