DESCRIPTION:35th Annual Health Sciences Research Day \nOrganized and sponsored by the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine\, Health Sciences Research Day partners with the School of Pharmacy\, the College of Health Professions and the College of Science to highlight original research and educational innovations. DESCRIPTION:22nd LBRN Annual Meeting\nAbout \n\nEach year the LBRN program has an annual meeting in which program participants\, committee members and administrators meet to review individual research accomplishments and to discuss the overall program activity. Summer research faculty and graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to present their LBRN sponsored research\, and talks are scheduled to highlight sponsored research projects from partnered campuses across the state. \nOral Presenters: INBRE Translational Project PIs\, Full Project PIs\, Pilot Project PIs\, Summer Graduate Students\, and invited guests. \nPoster Sessions: Pilot\, Translational\, and Startup Project PIs\, 2023 LBRN Summer Faculty\, and Graduate Students are required to submit an abstract to participate in the poster session. SUMMARY:iTREP Entrepreneurship Summer Bootcamp
DESCRIPTION:iTREP Biomedical Entrepreneurship Program starts from June 23–27\, 2025\, at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge\, Louisiana. This week-long immersive training is being conducted in collaboration with the University of Vermont IDeA Entrepreneurship Program\, supported by NIH NIGMS\, and is specifically designed to introduce biomedical researchers to core concepts in innovation\, entrepreneurship\, and commercialization. \nThe program is open to graduate students\, postdoctoral fellows\, and junior faculty across IDeA states\, with a focus on biomedical research translation and venture development. Participants will engage with experienced faculty\, NIH program staff\, and entrepreneurs in interactive workshops\, mentorship sessions\, and a pitch competition at the end of the week.
