SUMMARY:Funding and Grant Resources for Research- Tulane University
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, you will learn about the more “traditional” tools to investigate funding opportunities relevant to your field\, including community engaged scholarship. We will then go outside the box and investigate creative ways to find relevant funding and grant opportunities that you may never have considered! Resources that we will cover include grants.gov\, grant forward\, foundation directory\, and more! \nFacilitator: Raquel Horlick (Coordinator for Scholarly Resources\, Sciences & Engineering\, Howard-Tilton Memorial Library)\, Kathy Kozar (Director\, Sponsored Projects Administration) \nThursday\, November 4\, 11am-12:15pm \nJoin us live: Room 308 of the Howard-Tilton Library or by Zoom – The Zoom link will be provided immediately after you register here \nFor more information\, contact Myriam Huet mhuet@tulane.edu \n\n\nFor more information on this event\, please visit https://tulane.campuslabs.com/engage/event/7499955 \nFunding and Grant Resources for Research | Tulane University Events

SUMMARY:Applications and Competitions for Grant Funding
DESCRIPTION:LBRN was established in September 2001 with Biomedical Research Infrastructure Networks (BRIN) funding by the National Institutes of Health (NIH)\, through the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) Grant P20RR016456\, the LBRN is committed to raising the research competitiveness of Louisiana researchers. IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) is the second phase of the BRIN Program when LBRN initially started. Currently\, LBRN is in the third phase with continued funding by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) Grant 8P20GM103424 and the Louisiana Board of Regents Support Fund. \nThe Louisiana Biomedical Research Network offers a limited number of grants and research programs to which qualified researchers may apply. Please look at the available programs listed on the site below: \nInfoReady Review (infoready4.com)
