SUMMARY:NIGMS IDeA-wide Town Hall Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Ming Lei is the Director of the Division for Research Capacity Building at the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS). He oversees the Institutional Development Award (IDeA) and other research capacity-building programs with a total annual funding budget of approximately $500 million. He held leadership positions at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) before joining NIGMS in 2018.
