The Center for Molecular and Cellular Biosciences (CMCB) is hosting a series of 10 seminars with top university scientists, sponsored by Mississippi IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE), Our ninth seminar in the series will feature Dr. Julie Brill via Zoom.
Dr. Brill is a Professor of Molecular Genetics and a Member of the Institute of Medical Science and the Collaborative Developmental Biology Program at University of Toronto. Her seminar is titled, “PI4P Signaling Drives Membrane Trafficking, Growth, and Development in Drosophila.”
Dr. Brill has great interest in studying phosphatidylinositol phosphates in animal development. In addition to her job as a professor, she works as Senior Scientist in the Cell Biology Program at The Hospital for Sick Children Research Institute.
