The 2025 Western Regional IDeA Conference (WRIC) is a forum for biomedical scientists to exchange knowledge with their colleagues regarding the most recent research in the NIH IDeA Western Region. The Western IDeA states are Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, and Wyoming. WRIC encompasses oral and poster scientific sessions, keynote talks, professional development workshops, and information-sharing sessions with NIH officials.
Alaska INBRE welcomes you to the 2025 NIH Western Regional IDeA Conference. The goal of this meeting is to provide a forum where biomedical students, scientists, and administrators will share knowledge and establish or strengthen collaborations towards building a dynamic and resilient biomedical research and training network. We are excited to highlight work in the IDeA Western Region, which includes INBRE, COBRE, and CTR programs from Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, and Wyoming. The conference will be held at the Hotel Captain Cook in the winter city of Anchorage, Alaska, and will include keynote seminars, poster sessions, oral topic-organized breakout sessions, professional development, and IDeA program focused sessions with NIH staff.
