Instructor at Tulane University
The Division of Biomedical Informatics and Genomics at Tulane University School of Medicine (SOM) is seeking an instructor to conduct research in Biomedical Informatics and teaching in our MS/PhD program. Teaching loads will be from 5 to 6 courses per year based on the needs of the Division and your availability. The specific courses will be related with biomedical informatics and genomics and vary from semester to semester, depending on the MS/PhD program teaching needs. Courses will be taught at the Downtown campus, online, or in a hybrid format. The instructors will also provide intellectual support for students’ research projects executed at the Center for Biomedical Informatics and Genomics.
Skill Requirements
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. /M.D. in biostatistics, computer science, genomic sciences, biomedical sciences, or biomedical informatics-related areas.
- Teaching experience in biostatistics, bioinformatics, or biomedical informatics research area.
- Research publications in biostatistics, bioinformatics, or biomedical informatics research area.
