- Protective factors in the social and physical environment that promote resilience
- Intergenerational transmission of adversity
Research Interests: My goals are to build interdisciplinary collaborations among the diverse disciplines investigating the processes and mechanisms of adversity and resilience. As director of an NIH-funded COBRE, I am charged with building research infrastructure and supporting the development of independent researchers. The goal of the Brain Initiative, creating a neuroscience program at OSU, is an integral component of this work.
