Research Activities/Interests:
Dr. Oupicky’s research is in the broad area of nanomedicine with emphasis on the development of novel approaches to the design of polymeric drugs and methods of drug combination delivery to better treat various diseases. The current research focus is on the design of multifunctional nanoparticles and polymers with applications in the treatment of metastatic cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and acute kidney injury.
He is also working as Principal Investigator of COBRE, Nebraska Center for Nanomedicine
