Dr. Stephen Pruett Principal Investigator of the Center of Biomedical Research Excellence in Pathogen host Interactions, Mississippi.

Dr. Stephen Pruett’s research has been supported for 30 years by nationally competitive grants, mostly from the National Institutes of Health. He has served as a major professor for 24 graduate students. He has published 125 peer-reviewed papers.

He has served on more than 30 NIH grant review panels and on the editorial board for several journals including the Journal of Immunology and Toxicological Sciences.
